We are an investment services firm – assisting our clients with and advising on various investment opportunities, quandaries and decisions.
What information do we gain access to?
We gather the type and quantity of data to be able to verify our clients’ identity (KYC), and maintain communications on an ongoing basis.
In what capacity are we handling this data?
Under the GDPR – we are a Data Controller. This reflects the fact that we are the ones who first receive the customers’ personal data in the normal course of our business.
What do we need the data for?
We need the data in order to execute our function and service for the customer.
Whom do we share the data with?
We only share this data with those parties who are a necessary part of the service we provide for the customer – principally the investment institution.
